Parent involvement is critical for a successful school, so volunteer as a PTO officer or a committee chair for 2017-2018. There are jobs that take no more than a couple hours a month, some are seasonal, and a few that require a routine commitment. Although the PTO can always use more volunteers and assistance, at this time we are specifically looking to fill openings for two elected officers and particular appointed committee chairs.

This is a really fun day! The gym teachers set up stations outside involving all of the kids' favorite games! If you have not done this event in the past, it is really fun, especially if the weather is nice!
We are looking for parent volunteers to help at various game stations. Please consider signing up for the morning or afternoon shift, or both! Mr. Smedley will have all of the games written on a dry erase board either in the gym or right outside the gym. Volunteers should arrive at least 15 minutes early, so you can choose the game that you would like to help run.
If you would like to volunteer or if you have any questions, please contact Keri Bardouniotis.
Walk-A-Thon for Cal's Angels
Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm
Help us raise awareness and support Jimmy, a current 1st grader at Ferson Creek fighting pediatric cancer. Jimmy will be our ambassador and lead the walk!
Our friendly rival, Corron Elementary, will be competing against us again this year for bragging rights. So, let's win! All participants will receive a prize. Popsicles will be served at the end of the walk. Parents are welcome to come out and cheer the kids along the route.
Fundraising forms have been sent home. All fundraising needs to be completed by June 5th. Help your child get involved and support Jimmy and Cal's Angels. Donations can be made in cash, checks made out to Cal's Angels, or text CALS to 243-725 to give!
Cal's Angels was founded in 2007 after 13-year-old Cal Sutter lost his battle with leukemia. Cal's Angels is a St. Charles based 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer foundation. Visit www.calsangels.org to learn more about granting wishes, raising awareness, and funding research to help kids fighting cancer.
Please contact Lara Hoepner with any questions.
